Auf Wiedersehen as TDGB Germany’s founding father retires
Transmec is bidding a very fond farewell to its co-founder in Germany, who is retiring after 25 successful years.
Kurt Fleschuetz has been Managing Director ever since Transmec De Bortoli Group Deutschland’s three branches were launched in 1999.
Whilst TDBG has retained its presence in the Munich, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf areas, all branches have grown significantly with several moves to bigger premises.
“We have achieved a lot over the last 25 years and I appreciate the efforts of my team in Germany and my colleagues across the wider Group,” said Kurt.
Taking over the role from July 1st is Massimiliano De Martino, another experienced member of the founding team, initially as operations manager, then manager of the Heiligenhaus (Düsseldorf) branch since 2019.
Massimiliano said: “Kurt will be a hard act to follow but our aim is to continue to grow and operate for the benefit of our customers and the whole Group.”
Transmec Group CEO Danilo Montecchi added: “Kurt has done a fantastic job and is highly respected by all his Transmec colleagues. We appreciate everything that he has accomplished and wish him an extremely happy retirement.”
