Delivering for the new Spurs stadium

Transmec UK is delivering for Harry Kane, Deli Alli and thousands of Tottenham Hotspur supporters.

With the new Spurs football stadium nearing completion, we’ve been transporting thousands of floor tiles from Italy to north London.

Destined for the players’ lounge, concourses and hospitality areas, the tiles are being delivered on behalf of a long-standing client, Strata Tiles.

Taking advantage of Transmec’s extensive international network, the tiles are collected from Italian manufacturers and brought to the UK in dedicated loads.

Adhering to strict timescales, deliveries are made direct to the White Hart Lane site.

Supplying a wide choice of tiles to meet architects’ and designers’ specifications, Strata works on a range of high-profile projects including airports, luxury housing, public buildings and offices.

“The new Spurs stadium is our latest project involving Transmec. We’ve worked with them for ten years and they continue to do a great job,” said Toby Jermyn, the general manager of Strata Tiles, which has its headquarters in Guildford.

“As well as handling deliveries from Italy, Transmec also manage imports from Spain, Portugal and Turkey, either taking loads to site or making regular deliveries to our holding warehouse in Reading.”

Andi Hannay, manager of Transmec’s West Thurrock branch, said: “We have a very good relationship with Strata. Whatever the load, we know how important it is to deliver it safely, to the right place at the right time. This is the same for any client and it always drives us forward.”
