Transformation brings clients closer at Transmec Chile
With a revitalised environment, a diverse team and new technologies, the branch is seeing enhanced client engagement and increased efficiency.
Transmec Chile has embarked on an exciting journey of change, taking a bold step forward in enhancing its operations and client engagement.
Founded in 2001, the branch specialises in ocean and air freight exports and imports and the branch’s leadership recognised the benefits of a refreshed approach in response to the shifting needs brought about by the pandemic.
Digitalisation has been pivotal in this transformation with the branch leveraging a new tracking system to bolster customer satisfaction.
As General Manager Isabel Bravo explains:
“We implemented the Cargoweiss system, a specialized tool that offers online tracking for each of our clients. This system allows them to access the information they need directly from their desktops, providing instant, one-click access to real-time updates."
Major changes to the office space have also taken place to encourage greater interaction, resulting in strengthening bonds within the team and with clients.
“We realised that our office space no longer aligned with our business needs. The renovation has been transformative and supports our goal of building long-lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect.”
The renovation has centred on transforming the reception area from an underutilised space into a lively, engaging hub. By bringing clients closer to the daily operations and the dedicated team behind them, the new setting has fostered a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Key upgrades include a new screen highlighting the Group’s achievements and a welcoming environment designed to foster connections between clients and staff.
Furthermore, the branch has also undergone a generational shift, incorporating young talent into its workforce. This infusion of fresh perspectives has complemented the experience of existing team members, creating a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
"The synergy of fresh perspectives and experienced insight has been instrumental in driving our success," Isabel adds.
“The younger members have contributed with innovative ideas and new technologies that we are actively applying. Their enthusiasm and desire to grow, combined with the seasoned experience of our more established team members, create the perfect balance."
As Transmec Chile progresses, the branch's dedication to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment remains unwavering. This revitalisation ushers in a new chapter, paving the way for sustained success and growth.
